Foxgloves

I am such a bad person not blogging for such a long time!  I have been making cards, sewing, knitting, crochet but don't always remember to blog about my projects.  But here we are starting the new year with a blog post.

This card is made with Clarity Stamps Foxgloves which are large and very scrummy stamps.  I tried lots of inks but preferred the Tim Holtz distress ink to stamp with and also to colour the edges of the topper for the card.  I coloured the stamped images with Spectrum Noir pencils which I love as they are not too soft and not too firm (as other pencils can be).  The odd butterflies dotted around are to cover the splodge from my fingers (whoops - but I like them).  The Friendship stamp is also from Clarity (oh dear I have another obsession - clarity stamps).  The card topper is 6x6 inches and matted onto black and then purple card using the Perfect Layers matting rulers which make life easier.  Then the topper was matted onto an 8x8 card.

I hope you like my card - I have collected a few Clarity stamps but I am always flitting from one thing to another and having to work every day there aren't always enough hours left to use all my crafty loveliness.  Wishing everyone a wonderful, happy and healthy new year full of crafty projects.

Sorry the photo is a bit dark must remember to add some extra light for photos.
