Cameo Birthday Card

On one of the Facebook Silhouette Cameo groups someone shared how to add scalloped edging to letters so I thought I would play around and this is how it turned out.  Not bad for a first attempt!  I just used some fonts already on my PC and added the edging then offset several times to get the layers.  Now I know how to do this I am sure I will be trying to perfect the technique.

Silhouette Cards

It seems ages since I have posted but life has taken over. Work has been really busy - working extra hours as someone has left.  Making lots of cards for the local animal shelter - lots of Hunkydory and Kanban cards which are quick and pretty.  The big issue was my Mum was becoming frailer and needed to go into hospital a couple of time - which made her worse. So sad but she died a month ago - now I have to adjust my life as I was spending a lot of valuable time helping and supporting her over the last few year.  

I have now started making a few cards with my Silhouette Cameo - I have used some of the designs from their store but also many from myscrapchick.  I love their designs and they always work out (unlike some from Silhouette).  The dress cards are from Silhouette designs all others from myscrapchick.

God Bless Mum - missing you lots.  So lucky to have had 52 years with a wonderful mum who always supported us and loved us all equally.
